This Avant-garde 60s mod suit was designed by fashion innovator Bonnie Cashin, a pioneer in mixing natural fabrics, as seen in this timeless tweed and leather creation. She got the idea for the metal closures from the toggles on her cars convertible top.
The jacket is trimmed in black leather and fully lined in black wool, and has slightly padded shoulders. Leather trim venting defines the waist. The unlined A-line skirt has a leather waistband and a hidden zipper in the pocket. The tweed is black, brown, and off-white. Mr. Steed would approve!
