Late Edwardian Black Silk & Straw Hat

From Kay Hats of Los Angeles, this late Edwardian daytime chapeau is a wearable size and is beautiful enough to be the centerpiece of any collection. The high split crown is silk on one side, straw on the other. The brim is gently tapered. Accented with a delicate spray of velvet flowers and silk leaves. Excellent condition, with a little wear on the flowers, which are a lovely subtle mix of pinks and blues. The crown lining is unstitched one inch at the seam, but does not detract from the beauty of the hat.
