Norman Norell Black Cocktail Dress with Bead Fringe
Simple, yet elegant, black wool cocktail dress by Norman Norell, the “father of Amrerican high fashion.” Under-dress has a silk bodice covered by the black wool overpiece with beaded fringe.
Measurements:
Bust, 36”; waist, 27”; waist to hem, 23”; shoulder to shoulder, 16.5”; shoulder to waist, 16 ¼”; beaded fringe, 2 ¼”.
Condition Comments:
Missing 1 strand of beads in the back and one in the front. One strand of beads has been rebeaded and needs to be restrung. (Extra beads are included with the dress.) Slight deodorant marks on the inside lining. Rest of the dress is in perfect condition.
