Wilson Folmar Green Silk Coatdress

In 1936, Wilson Folmar was head designer for Jay-Thorpe, a well-known department store. In 1964, he went out on his own, creating designs like this wonderful green silk coatdress with Nehru collar and 37 buttons. Slightly fitted, with matching green silk belt and oval buckle. The belt has a leather back. Great attention to detail; the “light accents” on the buttons are actually woven into the fabric. A find!
